This is to advise graduands, parents/guardians and sponsors that the 55th Graduation Ceremony will be held on Wednesday, 5th April 2023. The ceremony will be held at the Taraka Campus, at 9:00 am.
Applications to Graduate
Graduands who wish to graduate, must fill out an online application form to graduate and submit by Monday, 20th March. The online application form can be accessed via link, https://forms.gle/C2CeJRbHn8o8X6sq6
The form is to be completed and submitted online. This will secure you a seat at the graduation ceremony. All Master of Sciences and PhD graduands are to contact the Academic and Student’s Administration Office on email graduation.enquiries@pnguot.ac.pg
Gowns
Gowns will be issued at the Rose Kekedo Foyer (RKCC) on the following dates and time-Monday, 27th to Friday 31st March (9:00 to 3:00 pm) and Monday 3rd April (9:00 am to 3:00 pm). No gowns will be issued AFTER the Deadline.
Gown Purchase Charges
Degree gown (including hoods) K500.00
Diploma Gown K350.00
Higher Degree Gown
PhD/Masters/Post Graduate K700.00
Payment can be made to the PNG University of Technology Account No#: 1000386580, BSP Bank-Lae. Scan and email all gown fee payments with the email subject: “Gown Fee Payment” to the accounts team on email student.accounts@pnguot.ac.pg Deadline of gown payments is Monday 27th March 2023. Fees for purchase of gowns are non-refundable. All gowns will be purchased, now gowns will be hired.
Rehearsals
Rehearsal will be held on Tuesday 4th of April at 1:00 pm with procession starting at the Duncanson Hall. Graduating students should assemble in the Duncanson Hall by 12:00 pm on that day.
The rehearsal is crucial for timely procession to the graduation arena.
Debts, Fines & Charges.
All debts, fines and charges must be cleared by Monday 20th March 2023 .Graduands who fail to clear their debts by the deadline will have their certificates and transcripts withheld until outstanding payments are made. Photo Session
Formal Graduation Photo sessions will be conducted daily on Monday 27th to Friday 31st March (1:00 pm to 3:00 pm) at the AV Unit.
Graduate Survey
All graduates are strictly required to complete the graduate online survey online before collecting gowns. Survey link : https://forms.gle/whHQ7MpyGxidupfu5

Guests will be allowed entry by invitation cards only. Invitation cards are presented to gain entry to watch the graduation ceremony live telecast at Duncanson Hall. Entry into the main arena is restricted to Graduands and VIP guests only.
