World Vision PNG Calls For Expression of Interest (EOIs) From Trainers and Training Providers

1: Subject

The Livelihood Portfolio within World Vision Papua New Guinea is launching a call for expression of interest for professional individuals, partnerships and/or organizations that have the capacity to provide  training services. Ideal training services will include but NOT limited to:

A: AGRICULTURE-Agronomy and Livestock

  • Cocoa Development Training (including processing and quality control)
  • Vanilla Agronomy and Processing
  • Growing Rice
  • Small Livestock Training
  • Pest and Disease Control and Management
  • Food Processing, Presentation and Post Harvesting
  1. CLIMATE ADAPTATION, DISASTER REDUCTION and ENVIRONMENT

  • Watershed Management
  • Community Based Disaster Risk Management
  • National Disaster Management Training
  • Climate Change Adaption Awareness

C: AGRI-BUSINESS and FINANCIAL LITERACY

  • Small business skills training
  • Setting up of cooperatives and/or small business enterprises
  • Basic Business Management and Book Keeping
  • Financial Literacy (preferably CEFI certified or equivalent)
  • Local Value Chain Development
  • Basic Marketing for Micro-Enterprise
  • Gender Roles and Decision Making in finance

D: ORGANIZATIONAL and LEADERSHIP

  • Build Organizational Capacity and Change Management
  • Governance and Leadership Training
  • Project Management

E: OTHERS

  • Disability Training and awareness
  • GBV awareness

Mediation & Peace Building Individuals, Partnership and/or Organizations interested in presenting a candidacy must:

  • Be based in Madang
  • For an organization, present your certification of registration, organizational structure, constitution and financial records
  • For individuals, present your EOI with CV, referees and evidence of work
  • Flexible to travel into remote communities to conduct training
  • Be able to demonstrate available training materials or access to supplier of the resource materials
  • Have 1 or more years of experience in conducting community -based training
  • Basic local knowledge about the locality context
  • Committed to safeguard policies of hiring organization. Police clearance is required.
