Application Criteria Requirements.
Applications must meet the following criteria:
- Be a citizen of Papua New Guinea and resides in PNG.
- Have a least two year’s work experience in their sector
- Work in one of the following priority sectors:
- Agriculture
- Education
- Governance
- Health
- Law and justice
- Transport and infrastructure
- Applying for a postgraduate and progressive qualification (i.e. higher level than their current qualifications)
- Be committed to returning to PNG and contributing to PNG’s development.

Closing Date for Application.
Applications for Australia Awards Scholarships are open now and close on Monday 31st May 2021 (midnight PNG time).
All applications must be completed and submitted online at https://oasis.dfat.gov.au
Scholarships are offered in the following priority sectors: agriculture, education, governance, health, law and justice, and transport and infrastructure.
Women and people living with disability are encouraged to apply .
Public servants are advised to conduct the Department of Personnel Management before submitting an application.
