Call for Applications to take Graduate Programs at Biology Strand at the UPNG School of Natural and Physical Sciences

The Papua New Guinea University of Papua New Guinea (UPNG), School of Natural and Physical Sciences Biological Sciences Division is calling for applications in the following programs for 2021

  1. Postgraduate Diploma in Biodiversity Conservation by course work
  2. Honors in Biodiversity Conservation by course work
  3. Masters in Biodiversity Conservation by Research

Applications for the Postgraduate Diploma in Biodiversity Conservation Program, and Honors Program in Biodiversity Conservation, by course work, are now open for 2021. These programs are open to applicants who satisfy for the following criteria:

Honors in Biodiversity Conservation

Applicants must only be graduates from UPNG, with a Year 3-4 GPA OF >3.5 within the last two years, and have majored in pure Biology, or combinations of Biology/Chemistry, or Biology/Environmental Sciences and Geography.

Postgraduate Diploma in Biodiversity Conservation.

Applicants must be graduates in the same areas of study as Honors Program applicants, but with a GPA of > 2.5

Note: Graduates from other academic institutions in related fields of study who have a GPA of 2.5 or above, or as determined to be suitable by UPNG, with or without work experience, can only apply for the Postgraduate Diploma Program.

An application Fee of K20.00 for the Honors Program and an Application Fee of K50.00 for the Post Graduate Diploma and Masters Programs should be paid into:
