
The Special Tertiary Admissions Test (STAT-P) is an admissions requirement of the PNG University of Technology (UOT) and the University of Goroka (UOG)
The test is compulsorily for applicants to the PNG University of Technology (UOT) and the University of Goroka (UOG). This applies to :
- All School Leavers (SLs) applying to UOT or UOG and
- All pre-service non-School Leavers (Non-SLs) applying to UOG
If SL applicants to UOT and UOG, and pre-service non-SL applicants to UOG do not obtain STAT-P test results, they will not be considered for admission to the two universities.
The four new STAT-P TEST CENTERS (Ialibu, Kavieng,Kimbe and Popodentta) have been added on the list of test centers for this year bring the total test centers to Fifteen (15).
STAT-P Test will be conducted at the following locations

Goroka | Kokopo | Port Moresby |
Ialibu (New) | Lae | Wewak |
The ACER STAT-P aptitude test will be conducted from Tuesday 5th November 2019. Test bookings will open in mid-August
Applicants choose a location and test day when registering. Applicants must attend the test session that they register for. PNG University of Technology and University of Goroka won’t be liable to any transport cost nor cater for accommodation for applicants to sit at any of the test locations. It is the sole-responsibility of the applicants.
Applicants must first complete the test bookings before paying the non-refundable test fee of K100.00. Payment must be made into the account that ACER provides the details of in their booking confirmation and not into the universities accounts.
