Although, the Department of Higher Education, Science and Technology (DHERST), through the Minister have publicly came out out media that DHERST will do the selection for UPNG, the university ran a separate media announcement calling for intending students to apply through it’s online application portal. Both the DHERTS and University have not make it public whether they have sorted the issue of who will do the selection. So to be on the safe side, it is proper every intending student should apply via the online UPNG Application system as well.
UPNG is now asking for both NON-SCHOOL LEAVERS (any interested person from public to wish so study at UPNG) AND SCHOOL-LEAVERS- (Those who want just finished Grade 12 this year in 2018).
